Location: AAM World Headquarters • Detroit, MI
Hours per Week: 30 – 40
Hourly Rate: Based on Class Standing ($12.75-$20.00/hr)
AAM is a world leader in the manufacture, engineering, validation and design of driveline systems, chassis systems and forged products for trucks, buses, sport utility vehicles and passenger cars.
Currently, this Tier 1 automotive components supplier needs a talented individual to fill the role of a Co-op at our World Headquarters location in Detroit, MI.
Position Skills, Abilities, & Education:
- Pursuing Communications, Public Relations or Marketing degree; 3.0 GPA
- Curriculum including marketing, advertising, design, English
Presentation and writing creativity - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Completes assignments within the assigned department, utilizing the student’s academic discipline.
- Obtains knowledge of department and its operations
- Develop reference material for global location displays, graphics, etc.
- Updates sales presentations; work with various organizations
- Updates photography and graphics for brochures/presentations
- Updates website content
- Assists in the coordination and planning of various company events
- Assist with organization of the archive library/storage
- Assist with photo library system/development
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
