Henry Ford Health System Offers Hands-On Experience for Student Interns

WHAT:
Henry Ford’s Public Relations internship program is an opportunity for students to gain experience in a corporate organization specializing in health care. Students receive hands-on training in media relations, employee communications and events management, while working with some of the most talented professionals in their expertise. Assignments include writing news releases, writing articles for Henry Ford’s employee newspaper and assisting staff with coordinating employee events.

A part-time position is available from September to April at 25 hours a week and a full-time position is available from May to August at 40 hours a week. Each position pays $10 an hour. No benefits are offered.

WHO:
The internship program is open to junior- and senior-level college students who are majoring in communications, public relations or journalism.
