Last week, PRSA Detroit gathered to support the next generation of public relations professionals. At our annual Strikes for Scholarships event, the chapter raised $3,500 for students by bowling in various teams at Universal Lanes in Warren, MI.

Thestrkes for scholar overview chapter has a long history of providing local students assistance with furthering their PR education.  Strikes for Scholarships helps support this scholarship program.

There were some seriously advanced bowlers in the house! First place was DTE Energy, second place was Webber Shandwick and third place was GM.

I was lucky enough to play on the GM team, and we were alongside one WSU student, the newly appointed PRSSA Chapter President Becca Cooper. After mingling with Becca and other WSU students,  I am certain the PR industry will continue to advance when they begin their professional careers.
