PRSA Detroit is very fortunate to work with some exceptional Metro Detroit PRSSA Chapters. The local University of Michigan – Dearborn PRSSA Chapter is growing rapidly and becoming more involved in the PR community.

The Chapter has had a historic presence at regional and national conferences, and has previously won a grant to attend national conferences.

Recently, PRSA Detroit’s Mary Henige, APR Fellow PRSA, spoke to the U of M Dearborn Chapter about making an impact through social media. Another notable speaker, PRSA Detroit’s Immediate Past President Don Tanner, spoke about the importance of public relations.

The Chapter is passionate about growing membership and maintaining opportunities for immersion into the PR industry through workshops, speaker series and agency tours. If you’re interested in working with the Chapter by speaking at a meeting, offering a tour, etc. please contact the Faculty Adviser, Kenneth Kettenbeil at [email protected]
