As part of our ongoing commitment to provide PRSA members with opportunities to explore, engage and encourage diversity through both educational and professional programming, the PRSA-Detroit Diversity Committee is excited to celebrate Black History Month and especially eager to share a few words of wisdom about D&I from some of the greatest thought leaders and creatives of our time.
It is our hope that this month and every month, communications professionals will feel empowered to champion the cause of diversity, equity and inclusion from the classroom to the boardroom, remembering creativity can be fully expressed when our differences and unique experiences are shared.
As global discussions around D&I continue across various industries, we encourage PRSA members to think of diversity and inclusion as verbs – not buzzwords trending throughout corporate America. Here, 15 quotes sure to spark inspiration and action.
