PRSA Detroit Ethics Committee

The PRSA Detroit Ethics Committee supports and educates our chapter members to uphold the ethical standards of the Public Relations Society of America and the PR, marketing and communications professions overall. We encourage you to keep ethics top-of-mind in all you do. To help you as you face new and evolving ethical challenges, we promote ongoing learning and best practices through workshops, commentary and the resources of PRSA chapters and the national organization.


In recognition of PRSA Ethics Month, PRSA Detroit typically hosts an event in September to broaden understanding and address current issues and topics impacting the PR profession. PRSA Code of Ethics

The PRSA Code of Ethics is a useful guide for PRSA members as you carry out your ethical responsibilities. It is designed to anticipate and accommodate ethical challenges that may arise and provides a Statement of Professional Values and Provisions of Conduct.
